Alarms keep on and on and on!

Just had a MPX200 on test for s few days and i set a few alarms / reminders they all work fine, but even after they have been deleted i still get the alert! So my daily alarm call still seems to trigger even though the event is long since removed from the phone.

Is this a known bug? I don't want to criticise the unit in case its just me in the few days i had with it.

try setting the alarm to the time it is ringing activating it then switching it off again. this is a bug that can occur when you change timezones / change the time after pressing the snooze button.

This may be the same thing, but i seem to have 2 alarms on my phone..

I had set one for 00:45 on christmas eve so i could get up for early shift at work.

That was fine, but now when i'm off work I had re-set it to 7:45 normal time.

This is where the problem is,,,the flippin alarm still goes off at 00:45 as well as 7:45!! :x

I've tried turning the 7:45 one off to see if that sorts it. Ill let u know if get woken at 00:45 tomorrow.

well i didnt get woken at either time this morning, so now ill turn it on again and see what thappens.

I have seen dual alarms when I have not acknowledged an alarm and them powered off the phone by pulling the battery (I was doing some beta testing and my phone had hung) on a restart I changed the alarm for work in the morning and then had the dual alarm problem.

Even resetting the alarm for the original time did not work as the alarm just went off twice at the same time :?:

well, i tried turning the alarm back on again last night. It is still set for the 7:45 time. And the 00:45 time didnt come on, cos i was still celebrating the new yr, and my phone was very active with sms and calls etc, but no alarm, until 7:45 this morning...which wasnt all that welcome!! :twisted:

False alarm,

My alarm is set for 0100 hrs but for the last four days has been going off at 0016 hrs and then at the correct time, have'nt added any software or updates for months, been using Ritchie's alarm plugin without problems with an E100 and this Mpx200.

I've never set the alarm or a reminder for 0016, and have checked all the settings that could trigger an alarm and found nothing.

If you suggest a hard reset I think I'd rather live with the false alarm !

When I had a phantom alarm on my c500 the only option was to do a hard reset unfortunately.

If that's what you had to do, I certainly won't be able to fix it, hard reset here I come, OH B_M. what a pain.
