Hwo di I reset my E200 to factory settings?

I want to return my E200 back to factory settings so I can start from a fresh. The software I have installed is slowing everything down. I have installed the offical update from the orange site.

Will I need to run the orange update again?

You just need to do a hard reset <= click for instructions.

Note that phone will take much longer to boot up after a hard reset so be patient and also it is better to reset on a FULLY charged battery.

Okay if I do a hard reset will the handset return to the way I got it out of the orange box or will I need to reinstall all the programs?

you will have to reinstall all the applications you have installed on the phone since you bought it. all your custom settings and contacts will be lost unless you back them up to.

You will need to decert the phone again after a Hard Reset

for application unlocking to run unsigned apps etc.

Cool cheers for your help, my phone seemed to slow down with that Windows Longhorn Skin on. I tried to remove it but all I got were errors.

Now time to look on ebay and get myself a C500

On the E200 you can use "Clear Storage" in the Programs menu (may be in Accessories folder) :P

Does the same thing as hard reset but far far easier !
