any trick to deleting all contacts w/o hard reset?

would synching one way to the device from a blank outlook contacts file do the job?

one way synching from a new contacts to the existing contacts, basically appended new to existing records.

I believe that if you go to Microsoft ActiveSync and choose not to sync your contacts and then sync it will erase all the contacts.... :?:

You use to be able to just move all your contacts to another folder, sync and they would be removed from the phone.

configuring activesynch server on the phone for a different user, and sellecting stuff to synch, erased all as desired. i used an actual other user but didnt connect. so should w dummy user
