OK, so if you look at my other thread I just posted here, you'll notice that I lost my internet surfing / imap email abilities on my MPX200 with t-mobile until I added the 4.99 unlimited t-zones package. There have been rumors flying around that the free wap was coming to an end. I'm not sure if this confirms it or not, as there may have been a way to get it to work, but 4.99 for unlimited browsing seemed reasonable to me.

Anyway, I'd be interested to hear if other people using MPX200 on t-mo in the USA without a t-zones package can still access the web / email using just the free wap.

The FREE Internet Access has been disabled as of Wednesday. My MPx worked until Friday. They seemed to be "tightening" down certain areas. You can use other gateways and it works.

Yeah, if you excuse the untechnical terminology, there is lots of "weirdness" in this. There is lots of people who seem to be just cruisin along and do not have any service interuption, while I can attest that the majority have lost it. It also seems to be equipment and geographic location dictated. Some with multiple devices can put their SIM in one device and everything is normal and they stick it in another device and no access, regardless of what they do. People have usually been able to change their IP to another gateway and has solved the issue. Unfortunately, many with a Branded phone, like TMO 3595s have no access to their WAP Browser settings and are SOL. Anyway, in short, it seems their is plenty of different situations and "Mine still Works" and "Mine Doesnt" A good source of info is www.howardforums.com in their TMOBILE section, where it is getting quite a lot of "attention" from the technical standpoint to the debate of how lousy TMOBILE was to turn off a feature that you were not paying for and nowhere does it say you were entitled to. (I guess you see my position on that aspect)
