Guest carlh Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 Hi, I have extensively read all the skinning tutorials, etc and I am happy with what to do, etc. BUT I am a little stumped (typical noob). For instance, in order to skin a "Callalert" screen: I understand that you should go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai" and then select :Callalert (used for incoming calls). Then select 'Values' select 'BKBitmapFile' and change the path to that of your image (eg. IPSMvolume.gif) BUT - I do not have 'BKBitmapFile in my list, I only have: - 'BKBitmapTransparent' - 'BKflags' - 'BkUnselected' I thought perhaps it might be to do with Caller ID settings (i.e the BKBitmap is transparent and therefore does not have a path to an image), but to be honest I'm a bit lost as to why there is no image path here and don't really want to experiment when I'm not altogether sure. Hopefully someone can put me on the right path (excuse the pun!) Thanks
Guest g4mb17 Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 jsut create it, it usually doens't exist by default. riki
Guest carlh Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 That simple huh! Thanks, it didn't cross my mind that it might not be there by default.
