Guest poofy Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 i just did a hard reset on my phone since i never had reset since i upgraded it exactly a year ago, but before the hard reset i formatted my sd card.... after the hard reset, i installed my fave programs back and was going on with my pc/spv routine and tried to switch off my phone after i disconnected it from the pc but not from the charger. i turned my phone again and i was curious to see a prompt saying that "dont remove battery, verfying IPSM credibility or something....." then it normal when on into the sp2002 logo then to the main screen and i noticed all the things i changed after the hard reset where reverted back to the original setting including the mms/gprs connection. but all the apps i installed was still there, the funny thing is that i cant remove the apps anymore coz in the REMOVE PROGRAMS, there are no programs to be found....... what the hell should i do?????
Guest uzi_999 Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 my advice is to hard reset and then format your MMC/SD using SP Task manager
Guest Pondrew Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 It's partially reset itself I'm afraid. It's a known problem (although I couldn't tell you why it does it). I agree on the hard reset, no tellling what issues you'll have if you don't do a full reset.
