Guest V Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 From searching around this site I have decided that these two headsets are probably the best around. However some users seem to have had some problems when using them E200's. Thus, can anyone confirm if either or both are good buys and work well with the E200. Thanks very much!!!!
Guest PaFF Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 I have used the Jabra which gave me some quality problems so I exchanged it for the M3000. I would personally go for the G2 if I had the choice. PaFF
Guest Samsonite Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 i use the Jabra BT200 whick works ok... i havent seen the 250 on any high street outlet myself... the 200 took 2 attempts to pair with my e200 but thats more likelt the phone than the headset. I had a T610 and the Bt200 was fine with that too. Range is nowhere near 10 metres and the headset crackled when heading out of range but if the phone's (E200) in your pocket or in a car cradle, it's perfectly acceptable
Guest garuda Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 I have the jabra 250 now, just got it :P. So, i'll be checking back in a few days, if that's ok. Worked the first time around though. Voice is a bit muffled bu t I haven't played with the volume yet. Going to try the enhanced profile, see what that brings... cu,..
Guest garuda Posted August 5, 2004 Report Posted August 5, 2004 Ok, here an update: The enhanced modus of the jabra is not supported, at least I cannot get it to be supported :P. I'm more than satisfied with the use in car. at the office or at home the quality is not at best ( environment with WiFi/Dect/ monitors/.. stuff like that). But as I said it is only my first day of use... will keep you updated. Shame the SPV e200 is not mentioned as a supported telephone on the jabra website. Does anyone know if the SPV e200 supports the bluetooth handsfree profile? I think it doesn't but someone please prove me wrong :D
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 I have the G2 and I can say that it is really light and works really well. Some report an echo on the other end...others say they cant even tell I'm using a headset...let alone a wireless one. Depending on your ears...it may take some time to adjust so the speaker is comfortably in your ear....other than that...I have no complaints. AND...I got a great deal on it on ebay including a car charger...in really nice packaging if that makes a difference.
