Problem with storage space on Memory Card

For some strange reason my storage card isn't working correctly.

It is a 256mb card and at the moment under the system info thing it reads

Storage Card 243.88

Used 233.69

Free 10.19

however when I add the file sizes up that are on the card it only comes to

98.54.

Has anybody had this problem before? And if so how do you fix it?? I've tried totally emptying the card. However when the card is empty it shows up as though there is a file there. Even though there isn't and you cant see it. Hope that makes sense & all help greatly appreciated.

Try formatting the card with Task Manager from

www.binarys.com that's the app I use and it even restored a

corrupt card I had :P
