Sim Card Failure In WM2003

I have been using this rom (version 2) for a while and all of a sudden i was dropped from a phone call with an error message saying:

The SIM is invalid or cannot be detected verify if it is inserted properly.

Sometimes I will reboot my phone and there will be no SIM found. I have taken the SIM out and back in no luck I have reflashed the phone with WM2003 and it continues to do this. I am using T-Mobile as my provider anyone else have this problem?

Edit: this is a brand new SIM card also I just got it last week

well i tried going back to WM2002 but same problem :/ i have no idea what's wrong.. I hope my MPX isnt fried

have you checked to see if the sim tab holding your simcard in place has broken off? that might be the case and your sim card is loose. happened to me, i had to jam a bit of paper between the sim card and battery to keep the sim card tightly in place.

that's exactly what it was, i used a peice of scotch tape to hold mine down though, i never noticed those tabs before i must have broken mine a long time ago.

I had the same problem.

I cut a small piece of double stick poster tape (the thick stuff) and stuck it to the battery where it covers the sim. It seems to hold it firmly in place.
