sd card use

Sorry this will seem a stupid question. How do I get media player to look at sd card for movies. I am not sure if the ones I have are the correct type, how do I check??

the media player always looks at the local content on the card or on the phone so there is nothing special to do. if you cant see the files when you push the select button then either the fils are not the proper format like .mp3 or .wmv for movies, or perhaps you need to reformat your sd card
