Guest craigp Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 jasonh, I was very interested in trying your app on the off chance that it might help me with a problem I am having: http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=115792 Anyway, I downloaded the app, installed (no problems so far) and assigned a WAV to my missus (so to speak). Sadly the original WAV sounds rather than the replacement. I also notice that the SMS counter has not incremented henceforth I assume it isn't finding a match in my contacts. I have incidentally rebooted the phone and re-loaded the app just in case. The second SMS was exactly the same as the first however. If it helps I am running a C500 and the numbers in my contact list are stored in the following format: +44(1111)123456 [no leading zero in the area code] As a slight asside, I don't suppose you could tell me whether your app will stop playing the WAV when a key is pressed could you? (I am getting desperate to solve this problem!!) Cheers Craig
Guest g4mb17 Posted October 18, 2004 Report Posted October 18, 2004 nice work jason, now i see why you wanted to get the vibrate API working, BTW, did you get it working? riki
Guest jasonh Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 nice work jason, now i see why you wanted to get the vibrate API working, BTW, did you get it working? riki Yes I did riki, thanks very much for that! was appreciated. As for Craigs request. I had not thought of that. Would be simple enough I guess, just would require a few things to test on it I guess. Im releasing a V2 update soon so I dont think Ill add it into this one as Im currently going through the testing of it and dont want to introduce any thing else new... If there was demand tho? !!!
Guest craigp Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Jason, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let there be a demand for this  Trust me there is nothing else around that does this and I cannot be the only person who would like to use a long WAV with the option of stopping it! If you do decide to put this in a future version, please drop me a PM and I'll (more than) happily test it for you! ^_^ Craig
Guest Lammypie Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 THERE IS LOADS OF DEMAND FOR THIS. This is on the bug list for the C500 so if this program could fix it, then demand would be huge
Guest TKJ Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but is it correct that you can only assign one sms tone with this program? I mean, when I try to assign a different sms tone to two different contacts the first one assigned dissapears.. And as others have noticed, the sms counter doesn't seem to work.. TKJ

TKJ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> TKJ, You are using the demo version which only allows one contact to be assigned at a time. Jason
