EXCLUSIVE: Orange Retail to exclusively offer Champagne C500

News just in (I posted this once and accidentally deleted it... doh!):

Orange Retail are to EXCLUSIVELY offer the C500, normally available only in Black, in 'Champagne' (same as the Qtek 8010).

This is exciting news, as opinion seems to be split as to which colour looks best - time to decide which one to have

I cant see any details of this new toy on the O UK website but they are showing the SPV M1000 (O2 XDAII equivalent) now for £249.99!!

and just to be involved, got to be a silver/champagne/metallic grey/pearlescent graphite 500 everytime... now if they were talking iridescent purple or blue i would be able to talk the wife into having a decent phone...

I hope this doesnt mean silver...for my money the goldie/slivery look is much nicer...my 2nd ever mobile was champagne (Moto M3588 - house brick)

Well its got the be the black one....

champagne is an off silver... but the worrying thing is there are alot of variations... including slightly yellow, 'dirty' or pink....

any confirmation of the actual shade would be good!

If it is the champagne color HTC used for the PPCPE devices...let's hope the coating doesnt peel off over time with wear as it did on the PPC.

I think my long suffering other half summed it up best - she said it looks 'retro' in Black, which sounds about right!

I think i'll be going for Black, it looks great in the flesh!

ok heres the deal the c500 is free on contracts (£25 or more) the silver is only available for orange premier customers, comes with some speakers. its going to £179.99 on payg. all shops should have one for demo by the end of the week. next they will be in stock.

simon yours is on reserve.
