Guest Elmond Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 I installed an older version of pockettv and I can't register it because pockettv is saying that it is too old and it might not work with my Tanager. I have already downloaded the new version but it would not work! What gives? Should I reset the phone? I have a Tanager from Smart, which PocketTV should I use for Smartphone or Pocket PC? Help!
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 Make sure Pocket TV is uninstalled. Using ActiveSync, have a look in IPSM Windows AppMgr Install and delete any files you find in there. Also delete IPSM Windows AppMgr PocketTV if it exists. Now restart your phone (for good luck  ) Install the latest version of Pocket TV for Smartphone (not the Enterprise edition) and get the registration key from the website. This should give you a working version. I don't think you need to hard reset the phone.
Guest Elmond Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 Thanks but there's nothing there and I didn't use ActiveSync . It is just stored in my SD card when I ran the program. Still have any ideas? Should or can I edit/remove registry keys?
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 You should just reboot your phone (i.e. Power OFF then ON), and install the latest version of PocketTV (from www.pockettv.com). You should be able to get a key for it.
