no service on spv canary!

hi i bought my spv off ebay and when i bought a new sim card and inserted it it says no service the sim card is orange so it should work

Just to check the obvious...

Have you phoned Orange to register the SIM card ?

Then waited for 16 hours (or however long it takes them to switch you on..) ?

Also phone orange and ask them to check the handset has not been blocked, unfortunatly there are a lot of dodgy ppl on ebay who sell

stolen phones.

Hopefully yours is not one of them.
