Guest gemx Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 Hi, I recently bought a SPV E200 and the function to switch between the outgoing lines. On the old SPV1 or Mitac Mio the function was under Setting->Phone->CallOptions->Outgoing Line I tried the newest ROMs from Orange, QTek and IMate. But no ROM seems to support it. Although the Orange and the IMate Manual mentioned this. Is there perhaps another way to switch between the lines or do I need a special ROM? PLEASE HELP!!!!
Guest zeta101 Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 hold down the hash key when you are at the homescreen to toggle
Guest ronny Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 yes holding down the hash key should do the trick. :-)
Guest gemx Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 Hi, thank you for your replys. I'm afraid - it doesn't work. :P Currently I have the latest ROM version (2.6.5.3) from Orange.ch installed. Does anybody know in which version this function is supported. Perhaps only in older ROM versions or only in the version found on orange.co.uk? Please, i am in desperate need of this function, 'cause the SIM is from my company and the 2nd line is for private calls.
Guest ronny Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 have you tried to hold the hash key a bit longer?
Guest gemx Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Yes, i held it down for aprox. 20 seconds but nothing happened :P But nevertheless the hash key should only be a shortcut. The setting should appear under Settings|Phone|CallOptions|Current Outgoing line But there is none. I tried the SIM in my old Mio8380 and there it worked :? Could it be possible that the SIM is too old and Smartphone 2003 uses a different Procedure to determine if this feature is available? Is there perhaps any kind of tweak to show this menupoint wether the "seems" to support it or not. I even tried comparing the Registry entries and setting the corroponding values excactly the same as on my Mio but without success.
