Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Hi, I created an alarm clock application, you can download it from my website: http://www.geocities.com/lior_e72/ Its a freeware Enjoy Update : Version v1.7 is the latest. The application is still under development so if you need any features email me.
Guest drblow Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 em... the app runs ok on my e200, but the alarm doesnt actually work. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 It is absolutly essential that the alarm.wav file will be in the same directory of the AlarmClock.exe file. If you still have problems Please email me to : [email protected]
Guest Osiris Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Thanks, looked like a nice app in theory but the alarm woudlnt stop playing on my Motorola MPX200
Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Thanks, looked like a nice app in theory but the alarm woudlnt stop playing on my Motorola MPX200 Please email me the exact scenario so i could check it out. [email protected]
Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Thanks, looked like a nice app in theory but the alarm woudlnt stop playing on my Motorola MPX200 The alarm is on for 5 minutes. In order to STOP or SNOOZE it you have to use the application GUI. Maybe you pressed the "HOME" button and your application is ruuning in the background. In that case you should press the "BACK" button to bring the application to top screen and use its GUI to STOP or SNOOZE the alarm.

If you still have problems Please email me to : [email protected] I copied both files into the accessories folder. Should I make another alarmclock folder within that?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Thanks Lior Elkotser. Here are some screengrabs (from e100) ...freealarm.gif
Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 I copied both files into the accessories folder. Should I make another alarmclock folder within that? Yes, you could make a sub directory in accessories dir and copy both files there.
Guest ollnie Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Perfect little app, butt how can i adjust the sound volume????
Guest ollnie Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Sorry, i just found it, it´s the "earpiece volume" that adjusts the alarm volume
Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 Alarm Clock version 1.6 is ready in my web page: http://www.geocities.com/lior_e72/ You can now press "HOME" button to make the application run in background. Upon Alarm the application will popup for you to STOP the alarm or SNOOZE it.

Guest kevlar Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Can I make one minor request please? I'm being petty here but the icon doesn't look very nice in my start menu. All the other icons in my start menu have a clear background but this one comes up white which doesn't look very nice agains the blue of Mids MSN background. Like I said I am being petty here ! :D This is a nice app though all the same! :P Kevlar
Guest Lior Elkotser Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 Hi, The Alarm clock will have new versions in the future, I could replace the application icon with a better one. If you need any features please write to my email. Regards, Lior
Guest Osiris Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Hey mate, I was going to write you an email, but im in a hurry so hope this gets to you, Basically could you add a countdown feature to the alarm. So eg When I set my alarm at night for the morning, I know how much sleep im going to get before the alarms going to go off. Its a feature the alam on the Nokia7650 had it was surprisinly very handy. Any chance of adding something like that to the app?
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 Does this alarm go off everyday?

Guest rickt Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 I dig this App , really good . I was impressed with the Siren.wav too. But a bit too big at 1.362meg. I knocked the sample rate down to 32000hz [8bit mono] and it came out at 495 kb, still sounds great on my SPV.many thanks
