Guest Toad Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 What happens after too many wrong subsidy unlock attempts on the MPx200? After sending in my old phone to Motorola under warranty, they sent me back a new one, but this one seems to be subsidy locked. I've called Motorola and it seems that they want me to send my phone back again, and even then they might not unlock my phone. Any suggestions?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 Do you mean SIM unlocked or application unlocked? SIM locking is normal but application locking should only be on Orange phones.

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 11, 2004 Report Posted August 11, 2004 So you mean SIM lock then, one place to get it unlocked is http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ If the phone is still on contract then it will be returned to you locked.
