GPS Software (NOT Sat Nav)???

Does anybody know of any GPS Software than can connect to a GPS mouse (Serial and BT) to provide simple GPS status such as LAT/LONG, Altitude and Direction.

I use Mapopolis for Sat Nav and I like the GPS Status function but would prefer to use a smaller application if one was available.
