One Extremely NEWBIE Question :)

Ok, ready for this... How in the world can I write text on any of the plugin lines of code?

IE: Imagine the clock plugin, but before the clock I want it to say ... The time is:

sorry about the real head scratcher there, but I've been scratching hard, and its stopped itching a long time ago :oops:

I know its a basic question... but to those who don't know, its not so basic.

Can someone please tell me what the answer is?

Im just finishing my latest skin, and this is slowing me down a bit..

(With the whole "the time is" thing, that was only an example... that is not what I want to do)
