Guest Alien18 Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 "Motorola and Apple have formed a partnership that will bring the iTunes music service to future Motorola smartphones. " Sounds interesting for any Motorola and iTunes fans. Click the link below for more details. http://www.brighthand.com/article/Motorola...to_Offer_iTunes
Guest Colonel Trouble Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 I suspect this wont be with the mpx220 because these are made by MS and well apple and MS aint exaclty best buddies :P
Guest Alien18 Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Well i dont know much about the mpx220 but i suspect this will be a while before being implemented into the motorola phones. Don't forgot tho that iTunes is already available for PCs that run MS Windows. Since iTunes is essentially software and MS only provide the OS for the phones there should be no reason why they can't use MS OS and have iTunes on it. Theres alway the chance that MS could fall out with motorola over it i suppose but that'd just be petty and MS wouldn't want to ruin there chances of world domination lol.
Guest gravity Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Microsoft isn't in a position to mess with Motorola over somethinig this small.
Guest Marizu Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Microsoft isn't in a position to mess with Motorola over somethinig this small. DRM music isn't a small thing, it's huge. It's close to an ideal recurring revenue model (if they can get rid of P2P sharing software). Mari-zu
