Guest Disco Stu Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 I've emailed their sales office but he's away till next week. Would you guys know if this will be a fancier version of Orange's Fireplayer ? I'd love something similarly intuitive but not quite so simple
Guest drblow Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Wow! This looks amazing! Pity it doesn't appear to be available.

Would you guys know if this will be a fancier version of Orange's Fireplayer ? I'd love something similarly intuitive but not quite so simple more than fancier. not that i got fireplayer to work. it looks like a mini fruityloops/cubase type of thing. fireplayer gave the impression it was geared more towards ringtones. speaking of fireplayer. I found this link and it finally got updated  http://www.fireplayer.com/
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Fireplayer, as endorsed by DJ Yoda ! Shame you can't mix samples from different tracks. I thought it was great fun doing my own mixes but the sodding thing only saves about 30 seconds  And the level is way too low :P This, however, could be mint 8)
Guest martin Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Fireplayer, as endorsed by DJ Yoda ! Shame you can't mix samples from different tracks. I thought it was great fun doing my own mixes but the sodding thing only saves about 30 seconds I think if you save it as ringtone it will only be 30 seconds long because thats the maximum length of time the network will allow it to ring before the Voice mail is activated. Any longer would be a waste
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 I'm sure I tried saving to storage card and still not getting the full 10 minute rinse-out I had lovingly crafted

Guest Pigo Posted August 13, 2004 Report Posted August 13, 2004 is there a place I can download fireplayer without going through orange world. I don't have it and don't want it installed on my phone. don't even know if the dutch orange world has fireplayer. can anyone help me out? Pigo
Guest agent.m Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 positive you have to be on orange world to use the service cause I tried myself so even if you try it wont be worth it
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 You need Orange to download (buy) the choons, which come in .fpy format which I imagine aren't available anywhere else. I also assume that the player won't handle any other format bar wav files for playback only. But then I have no idea about how these things work :? :P
