ActiveSync installtion stops at 91/92%!

Hi :P

One of my friends who owns a Xphone is experiencing a strange problem where he installs ActiveSync from the CD and it stops at 91% :?, Also tried downloading the file from Microsoft, which then the installation stops at 92%, at these percentages he says the installation just crashes :?

I've helped him by cleaning the pc which was suprisingly full of spyware etc, but it doesn't help at all :?

Also there's no error messages too :?

Any clues?

I find that when it gets to about 90% it takes a couple of mins then just carries on. How long have you tried leaving it?

I've told him to leave it, but he says it just crashes after awhile of leaving it alone :shock: :oops:
