ex contract E200 can they block with imei number?

hi i bought a phone from ebay with no sim innit i think it was an ex contract phone can they block the phone completely with the imei number? :roll:

yeah they couldm but would only do it if the phone is stolen/lost or the contract wasnt being paid etc

well this guy wont be paying the contract now if hes sold it to me so will it get cut off then? :P now im panicking,i thought the only way to block it was if u still had the contract sim in the phone they could send a text to the sim to block it,ohno!! :cry:

chances are he has paid off and cancelled the contract. just email him and ask.
