how to Sending SMS to Email with i600 Smartphone 2003

This was posted before by someone else, but I could not find it on a search so thought I would repost this how to;

:idea: To send a SMS message to an EMAIL account :idea:

FIRST go to www.vtext.com and create an account.

then wait 'a couple of hours'

then on the phone

:arrow: START :arrow: 1) InBox

you will now be in an Account/Folder or offered to select one;

1) Select :arrow: 1) SIMS

2) in ActiveSync or non-SMS, :arrow: MENU :arrow: 0) Accounts/Folders :arrow: 1) SMS

3) in SMS continue

:arrow: NEW :arrow: 1) SMS

in the "To:" field type :arrow: 6245

in the 'body' type :arrow: email@address _space_ message;

example:

[email protected] hi there this is a message from my mobile phone.

NOTE:

you can send to multiple emails with commas between no spaces; ex: :arrow: [email protected],[email protected] message

you can not insert from the address book :cry:

though if you send to just a few address you could add them to the 'my text' list.

This does work with 2002, but I forget the steps, the basics are the same, address to 6245 and then I think there was a subject line where you put the email address, but not sure.
