C500 & MP3

Can the C500 use an MP3 as a ring tone?

I have a Moto A920 on the 3 network at the mo but am looking to upgrade, I really like the fact I can have an MP3 as my ringtone (currently set to the inspector gadget there tune)

Also, can you have ring & vibrate selected, saying that, is there a vibrate option?

I've never had a 'smartphone' although the a920 and the 7650 I had previously are clever, so as much info as possible please

You can convert it to wma, That is supposed to work... dunno about mp3 though

You can edit your own ring mode which can contain ring->vibrate, vibrate->ring, ring+vibrate...

all SPV's have had the vibrate option

WMA does work as a ringtone, MP3 doesnt, and you can have them on the SD card. However, you cant have them on the sd card for the per contact ringer (where you set different ringers to different contacts)

Thanks for the reply, the diff between mp3 and wma is nowt so I'm happy with that.

is there a registry tweak to fix this? I really don't want to have to convert MP3's to wma's just to use as ring tones on my phone :)

man thats just lazy, whats the diff? Also means more care over what tone to choose
