Any Cow skins exist ? Could someone make one?

well some nice guy, long time ago made me a cow skin.

for my Orange SPV. benjymous or something..

Now I got an E200! *YAY*

But I dunno if it could still work on it or be improved? :P

if anyone wants to give it a try, its not to skin the whole phone, only simply do something nice to the front screen.

whislist features on homescreen:

1. list of 10 diff. programs in the bottom, user selectable, or just so I can write which I want myself in the xml file.

2. date, time, carrier sms and so on like on the screenie

so what I want in definate:

just look at the idea pic i posted, the orange menu thing in the top need to be recolered a bit.. if possible? :roll:

if any one dont understand it please post and I can try and tell it better.

Oh yeah, forgot to say, you'll need to have RJShortcut installed. To change the links at the bottom, copy cow.home.xml to your PC and find the following right at the bottom:

Okay I edited it a little, still cool but when I removed the SMS, Email, Voice and big clock the 5 programs / RJ shortcuts was not in the bottom anymore!! :D

Now they are stuck in the top like... :lol:

Can you get em back down where they belong ?

oh and ONE more wish: You see the Yellow/Orange box around the House with the globe. is it possible for you to make it transperant? or at best something that like goes one with the other colors. The Orange/Yellow seems so different and doesnt fit..

Umm and right now that I have gotten obessed with this cool skin right? Then can you tell me which part of windows is also possible for skinning?

And maybe which will I be able to skin ? :P

Ok i've made those changes, i hope you like the results :P. Do you like the blue square around the icons better than the orange highlight? I've also fixed that slight problem with the message and missed call alert screens.

If you want to learn about skinning extra screens, take a look at Nedge2K's Longhorn or my iCandy themes, both found in the homescreen download section. I think that Nedge's longhorn theme contains the inf file for making the required cab. To change extra screens (like startup, volume etc) you need to edit the registry. A cab installer is probably the 'cleanest' way to do this but you can do it manually. If you need any help then let me know!

Here you go. Hope this is what you wanted, i thought about making the whole background cow-print but that just looked too much!

Just uninstall the previous CAB and install this new one.

what exacly did you have in mind?

Skinning media player works by having a number of images (background, pushed and disabled) which change when a button is pushed. I used PSP8 to edit the default media player images, using a combination of semi-transparant layers, clone tool etc to change the buttons to cow print. Same as i did with the homescreen icons. I learned about media player skinning from a guide someone made and i downloaded from here.

Glad you like it :P. I'm going away for a few days so won't do any more work on this. How about you take a look at making some more extra screens (look at the threads i recomended above) and develop this into a complete theme?

And yeah, what's the obsession with cows then?
