Guest lukeap69 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Hi guys! I have the MMS settings for 2 networks now. My question is how to quickly interchange the two settings? It can be done in GPRS settings because you just have to select the settings in the DATA CONNECTIONS. lukeap
Guest Stryper Aquila Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 I just really don't know if there's a way to interchange MMS settings in just a click since we need to encode manually the IP, PORT and the address :D Maybe XBAR can help on this, save the IP, PORT and the address at a notepad then you can paste it automatically at the designated place when you need to change the MMS settings. @pzee, Baka meron pang ibang way :P
Guest lukeap69 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 SA, thanks for your reply. that's one way, however it still require lots of keying & complex use of x-bar. i could try that though. NB : that's basically what i do if i want to send a contact via sms.
Guest Stryper Aquila Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 @lukeap, That's the basic thing that i'm also doing :P We will wait for others to comment
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Uhmm how about doin the RESCO Registry export technique? If say for example you have a Globe MMS Settings loaded on your phone, export your registry config using RESCO. Tapos you manually key in Smart's MMS settings then pag ok na, you export registry settings again. Pag meron ka na nung 2 reg settings (Globe and Smart), you can just click on the .reg files, total naka associate na rin naman yun sa RESCO. You can even create shortcuts to those reg files na pwedeng ilagay sa StartMenu folder. Sana gumana nga. @lukeap Di ba you were asking kung saan makakakuha ng old version ng RESCO? Sinagot ko yung tanong mo sa News Section. Check it out.
Guest lukeap69 Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 hey guys, this might be of help to you. after installing qtek rom on my sap, i configured my MMS setting for Smart using the parameters provided somewhere in this forum. sending & receiving MMS thru Smart worked fine. then i created a new MMS account "MMS Connection Globe" for Globe of course, configuration data are also found in modaco forum. sending & receiving MMS thru Globe worked also fine. then i switched backed to Smart SIM, i had problem using MMS. I created a new MMS account "MMS Connection Smart", then it is possible again to send & receive MMS. It's now quick to change the MMS account using MMS Setting at the Accessories folder. I hope this will help others who unlocked their SAP. regards, lukeap
