Guest Bugwart Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 I was noticing that my speed test results seemed slow. Whether I ran the DSL Reports Mobile Speed Test or the TEXAN Speed Test, I was getting numbers that looked like Q2N. I changed the connection settings: start - Settings - 9. More... - 1. Data Connections and changed Internet Connection from "Automatic" to "Express Network:. After this change, my speeds went up to above 80 kbps.
Guest lenraphaelcpa Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 funny i had such low expectations and only used for email synching, i never bother testing performance. this made a huge difference in my transfer rate, 23 bps vs 6, download using 100k test one third the time it took set on automatic. seems to make a similar diff in loading web pages. good one
