Guest chucky.egg Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 I'm planning to get a C500 after nearly a year away from MS Smartphone, but I need some help getting back up to speed with the available apps. What apps are there for the MS Smartphone that I should look at for these essentials: - "Secure" database for passwords, credit cards etc. MUST sync with a PC - Simple database (searchable flat tables, but no queries or relationships) - Notes sync with Outlook (used to use SmartphoneNotes) - Stutter-free audio player (OGGs or MP3s) And what apps for these "nice to have" features: - SMS scheduler - Tube map - SmartMovie (simple to use DVD convertor) - GPS "location identifier" (not Navigation, but "where the hell am I?") Sorry for the newbie question, but I don't want to waste money on apps that have been replaced by something better! Thanks guys!
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 For your passwords etc database I would recommend CodeWallet Pro. http://www.handango.com/SearchRedirect.jsp...B&platformId=11 I used to use BOMASoft's Password Manager but the database file kept getting corrupted
Guest martin Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 You could try 'DVD to Mobile' from Makayama although I use PocketDivXEncoder to convert movies. Betaplayer is the best for playing movies and it also plays OGG files.
