Guest smeg36 Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 I am trying to add photos to my emails, and am having a problem doing so. I got the Viewtake SD camera today, and want to email the photos I take with it. I have tried using the IA Album 2.0 that comes with the camera, Smart Explorer, the built in File Explorer, and the PocketTV Smartattach program, and get the same problem with all of them when trying to attach any file. I will find the file, and click Send via email. It will then shoot me over to my Inbox POP email account. It won't begin a new email though. When I check my folders, there is a message in the Drafts, but is it blank without the attached file. I can't figure out what to do. Help me! Thanks.
Guest John.medhurst Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 you need to get a hold of a util called 'attachsmart'. It's free and I guess this site, monolithix or coolsmartphone.com will definitely have it - otherwise i wouldn't have got hold of it... Works well. good luck John
Guest smeg36 Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 I tried that out, and it didn't work. I found out my problem was some interfearance between another program. I ended up hard resetting my phone, and restoring from scratch instead of a Sprite backup. It works now.
