Is there an AAC player for the C500?

I can't seem to find one, and my music is all in AAC format for iPod.

I am reluctant to have a separate mp3 library of the same tracks, so any apps would be appreciated.

There is no AAC player for the smartphone. you have to convert the AAC to mp3. i use the hymn project (google it) to decrypt my purchased tunes and them dbpoweramp with AAC plug in to contest to mp3. I'm sure someone will write an AAC player? With Itunes taking off - more and more people seem to use this format...

I'd also love an Itunes plugin that recognises my Smartphone as a 1gb Ipod -- that would be amazing :)

I have installed last BetaPlayer on my C500 and it plays AAC sounds

huh huh ... i think that is going wrong here. if you want to download betaplayer you must go to the developer's website http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/ and not redistribute the file via modaco.

Please help support developers by visiting their sites to download their applications. The software may be freeware but it's polite to ask the authors permission before hosting their files on another site.

Please only post attachments if you are the author or have permission from them to do so.
