ID New Contract Q

My contract will cancel on the 30th august.

I wanna go into the orange shop today and get my new fone but i have no ID on me. Will i still be able to get the fone? The details for the new contract are the same as the old.

I have cards and my work id which has a photo on it, will that do?

if you mean the number you give cs when you phone them, no you shouldnt need that if you go to an orange store

you normally need 2 proofs of address, id suggest one should be an orange bill if you want to upgrade.

I would hold off until tomorrow anyway. Rumour has it thats the launch day, if you go today you have more chance of being disappointed.

Are u sure they cant just look @ my other orange contract and confirm it from that?

no im not 100% sure.

however they will have to have proof of who you are and that you are person named on contract. maybe a driving licence would do.

New conections and additonal contracts to an account require:

1 Proof of address

1 Proof of signature

Note that you must use two seperate proofs, ie you can use drivers lisence for address and sig.

Acceptable Proofs of Address

Full /Provisional UK Driving License

Bank/Building Society Statement (dated within last 3 months)

Gas Bill (dated within last 3 months)

Electric Bill (dated within last 3 months)

BT/Cable Telephone Bill (dated within last 3 months)

Please note Mobile phone bills will not be accepted as proof of address

Acceptable Proofs of Signature

Full /Provisional UK Driving License

Official Passport

Bank/Building Society cheque guarantee card

Bank/Building Society credit card

Switch/Delta Debit Card (not Electron or solo) Police/Armed Forces ID Card

There is no moving on this, even if you proove you are the account holder through naming every service on your account! It will not be acceptable to take out an additional contract to the one you already hold with us.

As for upgrade.

Proof of signature will be asked for. Not always essential

The Fleet Street store let me take mine yesterday on the promise that I came in with (or sent in) a proof of address - my bank statement.

The stupid thing is they (O) won't accept an O bill as proof of address! I had one with me! :?

Fleet st said they had one left and i took it this morn.

Went to the bank and got a stamped statement but thye wudnt accept it.

Doesnt matter i got the fone now :):):P:)
