Guest apathetic Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 I have a SPV E200 and there is a problem with the build-in camera. Colours appear banded, as if the camera is set to capture very few colours. View the following image as an example of the problem: http://www.apatheticgenius.com/res/images/...s/00000176.jpeg I have taken pictures previously which looked absolutely fine, but this changed a few days ago and I can find no way of setting the camera back to capturing pictures correctly. This problem appears on the screen of the phone while I'm capturing an image, as well as on the resulting JPEG file. Any ideas!? Thanks!
Guest squall Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 I have a feeling this is a hardware fault, but it might be worth doing a hard reset to be sure. Click on the words hard reset for instructions
Guest apathetic Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 I'm hoping this isn't a hardware fault. Did I mention that the phone is less than a week old? The first few days the camera worked fine. In the last couple of days I've had the problem with the camera.
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 Hey, you might get a C5900 as a replacement!
Guest apathetic Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 A funny thing happened to me this morning... I dropped my phone, and when I picked it up to check that everything was still working, the camera problem had disappeared!
Guest squall Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 confirms it was a hardware fault. possibly a connection. Id still contact O and seek a replacement as tehe fault could reoccur and you dont to have to drop it to fix it again
