Guest awesterink Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 I live in the US but travel back to the Netherlands occasionally, where I use an Orange Ready prepay SIM. So far I have been using a trusty Nokia 3310 while travelling overseas, but I am in the market for something more up-to-date. Since I am using a Samsung i600 (on Verizon's network) in the US I have invested in several Smartphone apps, and would like to benefit from that by getting a C500. Can an Orange prepay user buy the C500 at premium price from Orange? If so, can you have it shipped to either NL or the US? Thanks!
Guest Xenzo1990 Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 Well, put this in perspective, you use a 3310 overseas? Its a very reliable phone for example if you were in an emergency, there is a low chance you would have problems, why don't you stick with the 3310 while going to NL, sometimes SPVs fail to come on, and bugs prevent calls being made etc. This guy was in a skiiingacident, he needed a phone and he had an SPV, he couldnt make any calls because it wouldnt let him. So his mate got out a nokia, and phones emergency services, if his mate wasnt there, it could have been fatal.
Guest awesterink Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 Fair enough, I agree that the 3310 *is* a trusty old phone. But I would like to start using Bluetooth, and a camera for an occasional picture would not hurt. Hence...
