Midi Conversion app??

G'day all

Basically, Ive searched the boards, and seen some sites, but still havent been able to find what im after. I just want to try and convert some polyphonic ringtones to tones that might work on this phone, and thus far none of them do.

And why would you want to use polyphonic tones when it takes wav files? Basically I find them useful to have on the phone and use for some contacts when I dont want a full on wav file for them.

So if anyone has a direct link to midi conversion software could you post it, PM me, or tell me the link.

theres 1500 convertors there, what the smegging one do I go for?

:oops: There don't seem to be any on that list that do MIDI to WAV :oops:

What about converting to MP3 first - http://www.allformp3.com/mp3-converter/mp3...i-converter.htm - then MP3 to WAV using dBpowerAMP or somesuch ?

Which phone do you have there mate ? Have you tried converting to MID0 format ?

ah its alright, as it turns out I had virtually a sample of every midi, from 2,1 to midi0.

A couple midi0s worked, but they sounded crap, and one of them wouldnt stop playing, even after I answered the phone

So bugger it, ill just stick with wavs and my storage card :)

Yeah, I gave up with MIDIs in the end too :) :wink:
