Couple of questions - C500

Whatever I do my C500 will not Discover my Ericsson HBH 600 bluetooth headset - anybody any ideas?

Also, the backlight on the keypad only comes in once in a while even with the light sensor disabled?

How do I put the phone on speakerphone while in a call?

Right, I've read the manual of my HBH 600 headset - man, you learn a lot from reading the manual! All I had to do was press the + and - button simultaneously for 5 secs and resets the headset ready for bonding with a new phone.

Still need help with the other 2 questions - anybody?

The speaker phone question is easy, press and hold the Green dial button for about 3 seconds while in a call and a symbol will appear at the top of the screen and your phone is in speakerphone mode. When you hang up the phone returne to normal.

No help with the other question though.

You don't know how to Hard Reset this phone do you, only mine has stopped working big time?

peanut, go in accessories folder on phone and choose "Clear Storage" :)

Phone will not start, mySPV C500 has just stopped working. I installed 'My Tools' and now when i try to start the phone it comes up with the picture of the lake for 16 seconds then the windows mobiles screen for about 15 seconds as normal, the signal LED flashes blue then green several times and the phone restarts.

I have only had it for 2 hours, oops

Anyone know how to Hard Reset

I can get to the three colour stripe screen by pressing and holding the camera button while pressing the power button but that does not seem to help.

The buttons on the side of the phone do adjust in call speaker phone volume, but seem to only work once the call is active.

By the way i can now answer your other wuestion regarding the answer phone on button 1. Go to Settings, Phone, Call Options and change the voice mail number to +447973100123, remember to press done when you are finished. The phone should save the settings to the network and then return to the Settings, Phone menu, keep pressing done until you return to the main menu.
