VERY VERY BIG PROBLEM WITH SPV C500 PLEASE HELP

My SPV C500 has just stopped working. I installed 'My Tools' and now when i try to start the phone it comes up with the picture of the lake for 16 seconds then the windows mobiles screen for about 15 seconds as normal, the signal LED flashes blue then green several times and the phone restarts.

I have only had it for 2 hours, oops

Anyone know how to Hard Reset

I can get to the three colour stripe screen but that does not seem to help.

id guess a hard reset would involve holding the camera and power button, or action and power button. mytools seems very unstable, ive had same problem with mpx200

If i hold the camera button and the power button i get to the three colour screen. But i do not know what to do then or before then. Have tried to make sense of previous models resets but cannot get them to work. The white screen before the three colour screen is up for a very short time.

do you have some form of sd card in the phone?

a sd card was needed with other roms eg the e200

Yes i have the card that came with the phone. Should i be doing something before the three stripes appear? If so do you know what? It is just that these stripes appear very quickly.

Hard reset by going to Accesories, Clear Storage and following the instructions.

you surely saw that the buddy does not reach the point where he can get to "clear storage", cb???
