Guest foxy11 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Now i must admit i never tested picodrive on any of my previous spvs but it seems to run like an absolute dream on my c500.. Was it always this good on previous phones? Anyone else tried it on c500 and been mightly impressed by the performance?
Guest zeta101 Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 its faster on the c500 than it was on my old e100, but the e100 wasnt that bad actually...the one thing thats doing my head in is that you can press any 2 keys at the same time :) uzi, what is it exactly thats not working?

Guest saxineno Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 I've installed picodrive and some of the roms that are listed as compatible seem to freeze at random intervals, will try again after the C500 update turns up!

I have to pause and pause to get it going :cry: ne1 else have problems or no of neway to get it working or do we have to wait for a ROM update?
Guest winterdude Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 think this may be rom dependant. sonic is so smooth but other games just freez now if onlay i could get that litlie ball of fluff to jump at the same time as going in a direction we would have a winner :)

Guest durzagott Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I can't seem to get Picodrive to run on my c500. I put the Picodrive.exe and Picodrive Key settings.exe file in the Start Menu. The settings exe runs just fine, but when I try to run Picodrive.exe it tells me "Can't find Picodrive or one of its components. Make sure your path and filename are correct and that all required libraies are available." Any ideas???

Also, before I start, the readme tells me to put the roms in the my documents folder, does this have to be in the phone or can I store them on the mem card? Gonna be playing Gauntlet very soon :lol:
Guest Confucious Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 The dll needs to be in the same folder as the exex (AFAIK) this can (and should) be on the mem card as the ROMS can be quite big. The only game I used to play on Picodrive (on my A920) was Prince of Persia but as this requires multipress I can't play it on the C500 :lol:
