Orange Update 2.7.5.1

Orange has posted the 2.7.5.1 update on their site (http://www.orange.ch/offers/orangePhones/spvE200/spvE200Software?ts=1092910397272). The link to the file however is pointing to the 2.6.5.3 version. This is the correct link to the 2.7.5.1 file http://img.orange.ch/static/Content/docume...00_v2.7.5.1.exe

I haven't installed it yet, if you do please reply with your experiences

bugger, I just upgraded to 2.7.1.1 and I just got it all up and working the way I like it. Any significant changes with this update??

2.7.5.1 is exactly the same as 2.7.1.1, but localised for the Swiss Orange network.

The third number in the version indicates the region.

Hi all,

Doesn't seem like much of an update. Audio quality is supposed to be better and more support for bluetooth headsets.

Going to install it in a min. Will see how it compares to the imate rom.

I am having troubles application unlocking my E200 since the Orange CH update. When I try to use the "Unlock all SPV" tool I get and unauthorized certificate error.

Any ideas?

Just had a new E200 delivered (literally about 5 mins ago) and it's preinstalled with 2.7.1.1 - which was nice, as the last time I needed a replacement it came with an old ROM version

Audio and battery is better than the 2.6.5.3. I still don't think it touches the imate rom. The only advantage with the orange rom is that you can use the mms. Could never get the mms settings to work on the imate rom.

My Kingston 512MD SD card now works,

with both read and write to card.

Before at update 2.6.4.3 I could only read from card

After appling the update... is anyone having problems getting the bluetooth going?

I can't seem to get the dun working right. Anytime I try to connect to the phone, it says connection failed.

I had problems with my BT after upgrading (to the english version). A simple Hard Reset solved all the issues I had.

Hi guys,

Found the answer to all my troubles.

Windows XP SP2

I am using switel udb 200 bluetooth usb with the bluesoleil software (1.4.6 and tried 1.4.7 versions) and I could not connect the serial and dun on e200.

Found a great site Jon's Guides.This site has it all where you install ibm software - patch it and end up with a nice solution.

Everything working perfect and I don't need the other bluesoleil software.

Check it out if you're having problems. This post probably belongs in a thread of it's own.
