A question for Paul, maybe?

So, I got my 2 C500's last night but I noticed that in one of the handsets in the Power Management settings underneath display time out where it should say 'light sensor enabled' it has another selection box with the numbers 1 - 12 (I think, I don't have the handset on me) in it. And I don't think the box for the light sensor was present.

So, have I got a fault or maybe an early (preproduction?) ROM? Both have exactly the same build number, ROM number, etc, etc but this seems very strange to me.

BTW the IMEI numbers are reasonaly different - don't know if that means they produced quite a while apart or whether they are random?

That's a rogue entry in the registry... have you tried a hard reset?

Assuming that the startup screens are the same on both units, you don't have a pre-prod ROM.

I don't have a Reset Configuration in 'Configuration' - do you mean Clear Storage in 'accesories'?

Just an FYI, but the Clear Storage option sorted out the problem. Cheers for the advice Paul. Strange there was a registry error 'out of the box', makes you wonder what might be screwed up that you can't see?

i had the same on my non orange branded c500 - did the hardreset and it was gone...
