Guest Simon Desser Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 I posted a few days ago that you can't actually send a video mms from the C500, well here's a workaround :) Shoot your video as normal in 3gp format, then, using a file explorer program, rename the file from .3gp to .jpg and then send the file by MMS. If you're sending the video to another C500, (or I suspect an E200), then when the recipient clicks on the file, it should play back in multimedia album, same as normal. If you're sending it to another type of "Smartphone " like a P900 etc. you need to tell your recipient to save the media and rename it back to .3gp :P Ok, I know it's not ideal, and Orange should be ashamed of themselves for not ensuring this worked on the C500, but at least it means you CAN get around the problem:) This assumes that your recipient is capable of renaming and saving files, so it probably rules out a typical Nokia phone/user :D Posted from my C500 in a bar in Barcelona :D
