Guest akarno Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Has anyone found a supplier selling spare USB cables for the C500 yet. I need one for home and work.
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Cheapest I;ve found so far is for a USB 1.1 cable at £5.11 here: http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catalog/pro...products_id=805 I'm looking for a cheap USB -to- 3pin UK mains plug adaptor. This sort of thing - but for a UK mains outlet: http://www.boxwave.com/products/wallcharger/index.htm - anyone know a cheap/good source?

Guest Jasonkruys Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 If you pull apart your cradle for E100/200/SPV you will see that is actually a mini usb plugged into a circuit board to convert it to serial. Sadly, I threw mine away before I realised this
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Top Tip! Will see if I still have mine somewhere...
Guest RazorD Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Of course, as always for cables like this, ebuyer has to be cheapest: 5m: £3.10 : http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=57707 A 3meter one is available, but for nearly £10.. (dont ask me why!)
Guest kmara Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 You can also get a mini-USB retractable cable, this maybe a useful item to carry. eXpansys have one for £4.45, you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere as they are not usually the cheapest (however this seems a good price).
Guest markhempstead Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 If you pull apart your cradle for E100/200/SPV you will see that is actually a mini usb plugged into a circuit board to convert it to serial. Sadly, I threw mine away before I realised this hmmm, just tried this on your advice and my PC re-set!! (you sure the pin-out is the same? the affect i saw would suggest i just pulled down the 5v (probably to ground!))
