SPV os doesn't load

Hello everyone...

I tried to install Smartphone2003 on my SPV but it failed and now im stucked with my old os...BUT even the old os doesn't load now, it stucks on the orange sceen (the orange pic in the sea...).

What can I do to get my SPV to work? and even to upgrade it to Smartphone2003 OS?

If you have the SPV or SPV E100 then put the phone into the tri-coloured canary screen and the run the latest SP 2002 update. Note: The SPV/SPV E100 phones will become unstable with any SP2003 ROM because of the lack of memory.

If you have an E200 then just run the latest SP 2003 update from the canary screen.

Get the ROM upgrade here :

To get to the Canary screen :

Power off the phone,

Press and hold the record button then press the power button to reboot the phone.

When the phone starts to boot let go of the buttons and wait, do not press any key if promted to.

You will see the three colour Canary screen

There was only ever a beta version of 2003 leaked for the SPV

any other version of 2003 is not compatable as such and can kil your phone.

Upgrading it to the leaked sp2003 can harm my cell phone? like, totally destroying it?

If you do it wrong it can kill your phone, as the rom was only a

beta version it's not complete. More importantly the rom does not leave you with much physical memory to play with so it's really not worth playing with.

A friend of mine (that got SPV as well) installed sp2003 on and it's running great...

with doom2, playing complete movies etc...

And he said that ppl recommended him not to install it but it's running just great...

I have no idea what should I do...Maybe I should wait for a better release that uses less system memory?

There will not be a better release as the SPV is an outdated phone

now and there are not any more plans to release updates on

2002 let alone ever releasing an official one for 2003.

As far as I'm aware only the SMART network are still doing updates

but updates from them will SIM lock the phone to the SMART network.
