Guest MECX Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 Hey guys just wanted a bit of advice on a TV i have bought from the net and am having a few problems with. its a media center Digital TV card from www.gdinnovations.com. Ok it took me about a week to get this card to work as media center would just not recognise it, in this week i emailed GDI for some help of which they didnt reply, i then aquired a field test program for this card on another forum. The field test program didnt show any activity on the card at all, so i emailed again, this time in a few days i got a reply saying they had problems with there SMTP server and thats why they couldent reply. They also said i should send the log files of the field test program, while i was writing a reply to the email the card suddenly sprung into life. Anyway ive found that if the computer is left off for about 24 hours the card stops working untill its left on fo about an hour. ive emailed them every week for the last three weeks with no reply, in my last email i said i was going to phone Visa and trading standards if they didnt sort my problem out, i just got an email today with the heading 'testing again' but no content, i emailed back asking what the problem was and they should consider i web based email if there internal one doesnt work. What do i do now is the question? and how do i go about getting a replacement or refund? By the way im a TV product design engineer for a large company and have also given them a full break down of what is wrong with the card. cheers for any feedback :)
