MMC\SD card, speed difference??

Here in Spain MMC cards are cheaper than SD cards, so I would like to know if there is a real speed difference running apps from them.

There can be a difference in loading speed as SD is around four times faster than MMC.

As for price it's probably worth you looking at places like ebay

for a good deal as generally SD is cheaper than mmc now.
