Guest djayc2104 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Hi, I have an unlocked orange SPV and have a virgin sim card installed. I cannot activesynch, all I get is the rotating green circle and the word "connecting" constantly on the pc screen. I waited at least 15 mins and nothing. Is it becasue I am using a virgin sim card or is there any other problem with it. Please help me!! :oops:
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 It won't have anything to do with your SIM card. Are you using a USB hub ? ActiveSync doesn't like them. Is your firewall stopping the phone from connecting to the PC ? Have you created a partnership before or is this the first time ? You could try rebooting both phone & PC and trying again or even reinstalling ActiveSync on your PC.

How do you create a partnership between them?? I have rebooted the phone and the pc. If you can help me with the partnership question then I would be grateful. Thanks
Guest Disco Stu Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 If ActiveSync is installed correctly, the first time you connect your phone it should ask you if you want to establish a partnership and give you the choice of options to sync.
