Problem with sim card

Hi,

I have an unlocked SPV Classic and I am using a virgin sim card

the problem I have is that the phone states that the carrier is T-mobile UK.

Can anyone tell me why???

or is this just a glitch with the phone??

Virgin use the T-Mobile network, it is just that your phone probably does not have Virgin as an operator so it shows what it actually on. I have an old phone that when I put a Virgin sim in still shows the old name of One to One.
