I have just done an upgrade from my P900 to this great phone. I could have got a SPV sooner ;-) anyway, I am having a little problem with the bluetooth headset.

I have a jabra BT200 which is setup in a Hands-free Profile. I have several voice dials setup and sometime when I press the button on my headset, the SPV does not pick up. When it does, I can talk but the little headset icon on the top of the SPV disappears until the call is answered and this takes up to 3 seconds into the call. Damm annoying :-(

Is it a problem with the SPV or the jabra BT200 headset ?

On a side note, I am looking at either the HBH-600 or the HBH-60 as a new toy as my g'friend want's my BT200 for her T610. Which is better ?

Many thanks

If the BT is just for one car then check out the parott CK3000 or CK3300 - much better than a headset....

The HBH-60 is like the older version of the HBH-600.

The HBH-600 in my opinion is tons better. I had lots of sound quality issues with the HBH-60. They've gone away with the HBH-600. Plus the HBH-600 supports changeable colour covers.

It can be found for around £40 if you're smart and look hard enough. I got mine for £35.

I wouldn't need it just for a car. Out and about as well. I think I will be getting the HBH-600.

However. There is still the other problem with the BT200. Will the HBH-600 show the same problem ?

I haven't noticed it. But I only have a couple of voice dial tags set. Is your headset running headset mode or handsfree mode? (It's handsfree if you see the little headset icon on the status bar of the home scree)

handsfree mode. But the phone sounds don't come thought this headset (Unlike the HBH-600 I tested today)

Just had similar fun and games with a C500 and BT200. It seems to work broadly OK when you activate it by hand, although it doesn't always get the command button.

The most annoying thing, which drove me up the wall for a while, was that if you use voice dialing it disconnects the headset just after it repeats the voice tag and then reconnects it just after the other person has picked up. This can mean that you lose the first few seconds of the call. You have to hope that the other person doesn't put the phone down before you get a chance to speak.

Then again, I'm surprised the voice tags work as well as they do.
