iTech Bluetooth headset from Orange shop and E200

I have a iTech Bluetooth headset from Orange shop and E200 with the newest ROM on.

I am having probs with the headset sometimes locking up, and sometimes "not remembering" it is connected to the phone ie when all is connected a call comes in but no sound through the headset.

I also only get the little headphone icon when it is actually on a call, is this correct?

I am thinking of taking the headset back and getting another one (same) but want to know if anyone else has this headset, and a E200 if poss, and has any probs.

I have emailed iTech (www.itechdynamic.com) to see what they suggest.

But anyone else can they please help

So no-one has one of these, oh dear. thats a bummer.

What about the BT probs with the E200? and BT headsets, what can I do to help/reolve issues re this. I have the newest Orange ROM for my phone.

Well I tried the replacement brand new one, paired ok, called ok, left on stanby with phone and BT on for a few hours went to use it no good, locked up, button did nowt on headset, had to plug in to AC to reset again

now what...?...

come on every1, someone must have this BT headset, I'm sick of talking to myself :) . I was told to post in here from the irc chat, and I'd get an answer, didnt expect me to be the only one who replied!!!

i found that sometimes my e200 forgets what BT device its talking to, its normaly when its running low on memory, a quick reboot of the phone fixes that, and doing a delete device > pair device every so often (when the phone has crashed loads normaly)

yep, thats what it should do :)

i would get it swapped for another one, headsets normaly are quite good at staying paired

I tried an Itech used with someone else's SE K700 out on my E200, newest ROM and everything.

Had exactly the same problems as in original post.

I had the same problems with my Jabra 250 and the E200 to the point I gave up with the headset altogether. Now using it with a C500 and it's fine - in fact the range of bluetooth and quality is so much better.
