Guest ashley Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I'm waiting for the magic SMS from Orange to say the C500 is back in stock :) I have issues with audio playback on my original SPV which I hope are cured by better speed and operating code on the C500. My phone is mainly used as an audio player so these are major issues for me and I hope they're sorted. I do not want to have to split the devices and get a phone and an i-pod if i can help it as that's the reason I bought my SPV anyway. Basically are the following problems with my SPV fixed in the C500? 1. MP3 tracks ending three seconds from the end of the actual tune 2. Audio chopping when i use internet explorer/MSN/inbox (basically can the C500 multitask) 3. When the spv starts thinking about something other than audio, it swaps then audio channels over. Thanks guys Ashley
Guest ashley Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Come on peeps, surely someone can answer these simple questions for me please :P :D hopefully with the words fixed :)
Guest Pondrew Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Hello mate, Can help with question 2 . Audio chopping when i use internet explorer/MSN/inbox (basically can the C500 multitask) I've got an E200 at the moment and the extra memory (ram) helps alot with multitasking. I remember how my original SPV used to have trouble searching the internet and playing music at the same time but have never had the problem on my E200. You can expect the C500 to have no problems due to the faster processor and extra ram.
Guest ashley Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 mmmmm lovely!! glitchfree audio good, good, slowly ruling out the idea of buying a M1000 purely for its audio so anyone does a C500 play a full mp3 in a playlist or will it chop the tail off so to speak?
Guest digger Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 I use pocket music for listening to audio books and it never cuts off the end of the track. I have not noticed any glitching when playing audio tracks.
